The National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) and Exemplo Medical have teamed up so clinics can report on the data collected from Exemplo's new software application and NCBC's NQMBC™ Quality Measures. The new application captures a breast cancer patient's journey through identification, treatment and procedures. The information attained is aimed at providing real life results in an effort to assist in the development of improved cancer treatment. Clinicians will be able to efficiently track the patient through the process and better guide them to make informed decisions about their care. The program was designed just like its predecessors, with the direct input and coordination of specialized healthcare professionals to make a simple to use, fully functional and customizable system. The NQMBC™ Program (www.nqmbc.org) is operated under the NCBC (www.breastcare.org) and is committed to the quality of breast health care. Exemlpo's role is to provide a full EMR system that captures all pertinent information relative to the field that also includes reporting such as NQMBC's quality measures. The application was designed to aid in certification for any size clinic.
