eMD Central Plus has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This EHR software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“The certification validates that our software can help providers take part in the electronic revolution that is reverberating across the healthcare industry. Healthcare providers can now leverage our software to not only make significant care improvements but to also achieve meaningful use and qualify for incentive funds under ARRA. We are proud to offer providers the opportunity to truly improve care in their communities,” says Francisco Faria, Exemplo Medical’s President.

Central Plus, which met the requirements for ONC-ATCB for a complete Ambulatory EHR, is a highly flexible, browser-based application used by busy professionals to effectively collect, store and review patient information. It allows multiple users to simultaneously analyze and report clinical outcomes from remote locations, while implementing HIPAA security and privacy compliance guidelines.

eMD Central Plus was designed by physicians for use in an ambulatory environment. The application supports the collection of standardized clinical data allowing comparative analysis of benchmark and other pooled data. In addition, it supports the need for user-defined data elements unique to individual programs.

“Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience,” says Rik Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group Inc. “We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry.”

This Complete EHR is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
